Home Watch & Estate Management in Jupiter Island

Jupiter Island is a barrier island town, and the houses here sit between the Atlantic and the Intracoastal. That position is the reason people buy here and the reason the houses need careful watching. Wind, salt and water arrive from both sides, and a large property can go weeks without anyone noticing a slow problem unless someone is looking on a schedule.

We are an FHWA-certified home watch company led by its owners, Nick Martinsen and Wesley Oldham. On Jupiter Island we focus on privacy as much as inspection: few people on the property, the same faces each time, and a written record after every visit with photos you receive the same day.

Jupiter Island

What homes here need

Two shorelines, one house

Oceanfront homes take the wind and the spray; Intracoastal homes deal with docks, seawalls and tides. We tailor each checklist to which side of the island the house is on, and we walk the exterior after any strong weather rather than waiting for the next scheduled visit.

Large grounds and long driveways

Bigger lots mean more irrigation zones, more drainage, more trees near the roofline and more places for a small problem to hide. We walk the grounds as well as the house and note fallen limbs, washouts and irrigation faults before they turn into damage.

Salt air and older systems

Some homes here have been in families for a long time, with systems of different ages under one roof. We note the condition of A/C equipment, water heaters, pumps and electrical panels on each visit so replacements can be planned instead of rushed.

Hurricane season on a barrier island

Barrier islands can have their access limited before and after a storm. Our hurricane program is built around that: shutters and openings checked before the season, the property secured before a storm arrives, and a post-storm report as soon as we are allowed back on the island.

Access

How gate and vendor access works

Before the first visit, we register as your home watch company with whatever access process applies to your property and street, and we confirm with you who else is authorized to enter. On an island that values privacy, we keep the list of people who come and go short and known.

When a vendor needs to work at the house, we arrange their access ahead of time, meet them on site, and stay until they leave. You receive a note on arrival and photos of the finished work.

What's included

On Jupiter Island, owners often pair home watch with our hurricane program, then move to full estate management when renovations or a long vendor list need one point of contact.

Questions

Jupiter Island questions

Do you check Jupiter Island homes after a storm?
Yes. After strong weather or a named storm, we walk the property as soon as access to the island allows and send you a photo report the same day, before any repair work is booked.
How do you handle privacy on Jupiter Island?
We keep the number of people on your property small and consistent, register only the people you approve, and never share details about your home or your schedule. The owners of the firm do the visits.
What does estate management cost on Jupiter Island?
Home Watch starts at $500 a month, Estate Care at $2,000 a month and Private Estate Management at $5,000 a month. We set the plan after walking the property with you.
